What is Plug-in Solar?

Plug-in solar (also known as balcony solar or plug-and-play PV) consists of one or two standard solar panels paired with a compact microinverter that connects directly to a dedicated domestic socket. How Plug-in Solar Works

  • Safety & Islanding Protection: Certified microinverters include integrated Relay Islanding Protection (EN 50549-1 / VDE-AR-N 4105), which automatically de-energizes the socket plug within milliseconds if disconnected from the grid.
